How to code Firebase remote config in android?

Introduction

Firebase Remote Config is a cloud service that lets you change the behavior and appearance of your app without requiring users to download an app update. When using Remote Config, you create in-app default values that control the behavior and appearance of your app. Then, you can later use the Firebase console to override in-app default values for all app users or for segments of your userbase. Your app controls when updates are applied, and it can frequently check for updates and apply them with a negligible impact on performance.

Step 1:

Open your android studio and do sign into your Google account. Make sure that you are using same Google account in the android studio and Firebase.

Step 2:

First, you need to create a project in your android studio. Then go to Tools option and choose firebase as shown in the demo video.

Step 3:

Now Firebase Assistant will pop up, in that click on Remote config

Step 4:

Now open your firebase dashboard choose your app. In left side, you will get an option like remote config as shown in the figure.

Step 5:

Go to Add Parameter add “message” and put string value “how are you?” and click on PUBLISH
Now its time to code something, open your android studio as shown in video and do exactly as shown.
